May The Fourth Be With You

The Rebel Alliance and the forces of the Dark Side came together for Joseph and Andrew’s birthday.  We celebrated in true Star Wars fashion.

Bread Sabers, Hans Hummus, Vadar Veggies…

Pizza the Hut (yeah, from Papa Johns… no comments please.)

and Wookie Cookies!  Yes, I named the food.  It was an idea stolen from Pintrest.

That’s some green Yoda Soda and a pitcher of Jar Jar Juice (punch with a weird foam… I need a punch bowl!)

We had friends from the neighborhood, Cub Scouts and church join us for the fun.

Andrew and Joe both chose their cupcakes from the Dark Side.

We finished the day with a huge Light Saber fight in the back yard.  Dollar Store pool noodles, duct tape and electrical tape provided the entertainment!

All in all, it was a great party.  Joe told Scott later that he wanted to throw a “Thank You Party” for mom because of all of her hard work.  It was heartwarming.  Happy birthday to our two wonderful, sweet boys.  We love you!!!
