Antics at Grandma's

We just got home from a two week trip to KC. We enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, but we spent a lot of the time trying to avoid getting sick again. It’s just that time of the year!

The babies enjoyed destroying Grandma's kitchen and playing with lids. The tupperware lids were put in the bottom drawer of the kitchen 24 years ago so that baby Aunt Janelle could do the same thing.

All of the kids were outside my parents’ house enjoying the rockets until all three of them ended up in the trees. It was only nice one or two days while we were home, so we had to take advantage of it.

Patrick was fascinated with the birds and occasional squirrel that came to eat at Papa's bird feeders. (don't worry - we were right behind him as he stood on the kitchen counter)

"Wow!"

Joe got all dressed up and ready to play in the snow with Kolbe and Uncle Jeff. Too bad that once he got out there, all he wanted to do was come back inside!

The babies whined and cried until I figured out a way that they could watch all of the action outside. Then they were all smiles and giggles.

The trip ended with a bang – Scott’s cousin Christi’s wedding Friday night and our friend Emily’s wedding on Saturday. I’ll have to post pictures later!

We have a tupperware lid drawer too! And my mom always had either a drawer full of tupperware or toys for the kids. Whatever keeps them happy!
