The Twins Have Arrived!

We are proud to announce that our twin boys have arrived safe and sound. Patrick Kenneth and Luke Matthew were born last night (10/24) at 8:00pm and 8:02pm and, after some initial trouble breathing on there own, are now doing great! Suzanne is recovering well and hopes to be able to hold the boys this afternoon.

Patrick was born at 8:00pm and was 5lbs, 5ozs. He is 18 inches long and is doing very well. Daddy got to hold him this morning (he even opened his eyes to look up at Daddy!)

Luke was born at 8:02pm and was 5lbs, 15ozs. He is also 18 inches long. He had some trouble breathing on his own at first, but has progressed nicely in the last 15 hours.

Joseph is going to go to the hospital today to visit his mom and meet his new brothers. He is in good spirts, but is pretty suspicous that "strange things are afoot".

It looks like Suzanne and the twins will be in the hospital until atleast Friday. Depending on how the twins progress, they could be here until early next week. Thank you to everyone who has said prayers on their behalf; Suzanne and I are very grateful. Please continue to pray and I will be updating this blog frequently and passing along new pictures!

Congratulations! Just looking at the pictures brought tears to my eyes as I reflected on the arrival of my little guys, Ethan and Logan. I hope the hospital stay is short, but long enough for Suzanee to recover (my boys were in 8 days and I really think it was a blessing in disguise. By that time I was in pretty good shape from the C-Section and ready to begin this new chapter in my life). Enjoy your new brothers Joseph!

Yea!! I'm so glad I checked your site today! What a relief! We'll keep praying for continued healing and strength for mom and babies. What a great pick-me-up, there's nothing like the joy of new birth, even from far away.

Hey Tesons--
The Sharp clan is very excited for your new arrivals!!! They are darling little guys (with very nice Catholic names!) We're happy to hear that babies and Suzanne are healthy and doing well. I just keep telling myself that boys are a blessing...yes even when they are throwing things at each other or wiping their boogery noses on me. You guys need to start looking at bringing this crew home. We need to get our basketball team going, and we need another couple our own age here that drives a mini-van! We'll give you a year. I mean, they have to be able to walk before we can start teaching them to dunk! See you soon and God Bless you all!

P.S. Tell Joseph to get ready -- his world is about to be rocked;-)

I am going to try to take a week off, get to Chicago for a few days and then rent a car and drive to milwaukee. I may want to wait until spring, but that will come before you know it.

I hope everyone reading this is doing well. you are all in my prayers.
