Say What?

Kids mispronounce things … or misinterpret? whatever… they get stuff wrong.  It’s cute to see the associations they make and what their little ears hear and brains process.

Joe (while we were slowing down on the freeway):  “Is there a trucker jam?”

Patrick (after St. Nick brought us a Christmas Little People set): “It’s a Nicktivity Scene!”

Luke: “Why did God make tor-tatoes?”  Um, potatoes?  tomatoes?  Turns out he was asking about tornados.  That one took me a while.

Patrick (while playing Uno):  “I’ll pass out the cards, but you shovel them.”
