Halloween

  We had an eventful Halloween.  Mom and Dad were in Kansas City at the start of the day for a family wedding.  Grandma and Papa flew up to stay with the boys for our super short trip.

After we went around our own neighborhood, Patrick and Luke graciously offered to pass out candy at our house.  They sat on our porch hollering, “Candy!  Get your fresh, free candy!”  We had lots of takers.

Next, we went to our friends’ house:

Mario and the Dalmatian Doggie.   Andrew looks guilty because he was caught with his hand in the candy bowl.

Patrick poses in front of their house. Their friends are: Sarah, the angel hiding behind her goodie bucket, Jonah the “Samurai guy” and the all black (except for the cute pink coat) and ominous Ninja, Amelia.  They all went around in their neighborhood for a while until they got too cold or too tired.Andrew wasn’t as much into collecting the food as he was into eating it.  When he got a little too cold, he opted to run for home and stay in with the rest of us.  Our friends had their grandparents over and Grandpa E had a rousing jostling match with Andrew.

He was so delighted to be swording with the glow stick tubes.  The rest of us were happy to have the entertainment while we waited for trick-or-treaters.  It was hilarious to watch.  Thanks for playing Mr. E!
